# nn\_vehicleeditor

Design and wrap any vehicle in game. Players paint liveries **live on the real car**: text, shapes, stickers, images and AI art. They can also fit lightbars, push bars and LED signs. A design goes on one car, every car of a model, or a whole fleet that spawns by its own name, and every player sees it.

#### Features

| Feature                   | What it does                                                                                                                                              |
| ------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Live on the car** | You see the wrap on the real vehicle while you design it. Click a graphic on the car to select it, then drag it across the panels. |
| **Simple mode** | Four steps: Style · Colours · Text · Save. Includes police, sheriff, EMS, fire, taxi and security looks. |
| **Advanced mode** | Layers, text, 22 shapes, 26 patterns, about 10,000 recolourable stickers, flags and textures, images with one-click background removal. |
| **Fits any car** | **Fit looks to this car** learns where each part of the wrap sits on the car. No templates needed, and add-on cars work too. |
| **Cars without a livery** | Cars that have no livery texture get a real one the first time someone designs them. The server needs no GTA files. |
| **AI images** | Decals, seamless patterns or full skins from a prompt. Works free out of the box. |
| **Equipment** | GTA's own lightbars, drawn LED bars, strips, beacons, spotlights, push bars, cabin props and animated LED message signs. |
| **Driver controls** | Light stages, siren tones, traffic advisor, takedown and alley lights, sign presets and an on-screen lights panel. Flashes stay in sync for every player. |
| **Sign remote** | A handheld item for typing any message on the car's LED signs, live. |
| **Paint & interior** | Paint finish, pearl, wheels, tint, neon, xenon, plate, extras and interior colours are saved with the design. |
| **Fleet variants** | Save a design as `deluxo_police` and `/car deluxo_police`, garages and other scripts spawn it already wearing the design. |
| **Fleet fields** | `{CALLSIGN}` and `{UNIT}` fill themselves in on every car of a fleet. |
| **Share codes** | Every save gets an `NNW-XXXXXX` code that anyone can load. The library shows real in-game photos. |
| **Wrap shops** | A worker designs the wrap, the customer pays an invoice, then the vinyl goes on panel by panel. Also works with nn\_mechanic work orders. |
| **Moderation** | Word and brand filters, an optional approval queue, takedowns, an audit log and a Discord webhook. |

#### Common questions

<details>

<summary>Do I need templates for my cars?</summary>

No. The designer learns where the livery sits on a model once (about 30 seconds) and then shares it with everyone on the server.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does it work on add-on cars?</summary>

Yes. Cars with a livery work straight away. Cars without one are converted on your own server from the files of the resource that streams them. Cars encrypted with FiveM asset escrow are the exception. See **Vehicles**.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does a wrap on one car change every car of that model?</summary>

No. A design saved for a plate only shows on that car. Saving for **every car of the model** is a separate option, and only players you allow can use it.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Does it work with my garage?</summary>

Yes. Wraps follow the plate. Fleet variants are real vehicle models, so any garage can spawn them.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can players put anything on their car?</summary>

Only what your rules allow. Words and brands are filtered, approval is optional, and admins can take a design down everywhere at once.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I need to import SQL?</summary>

No. Every table creates itself on first start. If your database user can't create tables, run `_install/nn_vehicleeditor.sql`.
