#### General information before installing <a href="#general-information-before-installing" id="general-information-before-installing"></a>

This darknet marketplace script delivers a fully interactive criminal economy where players post jobs, browse listings, negotiate contracts, and build reputation across an underground network called **ShadowNet**. Access is gated through a **burner laptop** item: players place a physical laptop in the world and interact with it to open the terminal UI - there is no chat command for normal players, which keeps the experience grounded and discreet. The interface supports **buy**, **sell**, and **services** listings with detailed sub-categories, anonymous aliases, incoming job requests, contract tracking, operator profiles, trust scores, encrypted-style messaging, favorites, and configurable **dead drop** handoff locations. Hosts and server owners can tune listing rules, payment types, reputation deltas, demo seed data, and dead drop coordinates, giving you full control over categories, pricing limits, and how trust evolves after completed or failed jobs. All listings, contracts, requests, reputation, placed laptops, and favorites persist to **MySQL**, so the board stays live across restarts and sessions. Combined, these systems create an immersive, player-driven underground marketplace that feels like operating on a hidden criminal network within FiveM.
